Figuring out how to fuel for your climbing, training, and recovery can be confusing. There is a ton of information out there and it is not uncommon to find multiple pieces of advice from well trained individuals that completely contradict each other.

The truth is that nutrition is highly individualized and what works well for one person may not work at all for another.

In this video Taylor explains some simple tools that can help you to explore what might work best for you. Many climbers take their training and performance with an “all or nothing” mindset. Remember that eating perfectly is never the goal in nutrition, you can still make progress toward your goals with mindful eating.

Taylor works with athletes of all backgrounds to educate and instruct proper food fueling and nutrient timing. She has a dual Masters in Sports Nutrition and Strength and Conditioning. She also holds a certification through Precision Nutrition and is a certified Sports Nutritionist through the International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN).

Taylor believes that with a functional nutrition plan, every athlete is able to better reach their unique climbing, fitness, and lifestyle goals. She is also passionate about helping individuals heal their relationship with food.
