Climb Strong Video Review
Expert review of your climbing and training footage

What We Offer
Climb Strong Video Review provides focused, technique-based feedback on climbing, lifting, and general movement. Submit footage of a climb, exercise, or movement that has been giving you trouble, and a Climb Strong coach will identify key moments, explain what they see, and offer practical considerations for your next attempt.
Video Analysis — $50
Receive a recorded video response from a Climb Strong coach, including timestamped observations and recommendations. Your review also includes a written summary of the coach’s analysis, next steps, and considerations to carry into future sessions or efforts. Reviews are delivered within two business days of approval.
Live Coach Video Review — $80
Walk through your footage live with a Climb Strong coach. This 30-minute service includes approximately 20 minutes together on a scheduled video call, followed by the same timestamped recommendations, written summary, and next-step considerations included with Video Analysis.
How It Works
- Click Get Started and choose the review option that feels right for you.
- Tell us what you would like help with and upload your footage through the submission form.
- We’ll make sure the footage is suitable for a useful review before charging your card.
- Your coach will complete the Video Analysis within two business days of approval, or we’ll work with you to schedule your Live Coach Review.
Choosing the Right Review
Not sure which option is right for you? Video Analysis is a great fit if you would like to submit your footage and receive detailed feedback on your own schedule. Choose the Live Coach Review if you would rather talk through the footage with a coach, ask questions as you watch, and explore key moments together. Both options include timestamped recommendations, a written summary, and considerations for your next attempt. If you have a longer video, several movements to review, or simply are not sure which option fits, reach out to us. We’ll be happy to help you choose.
Video Review may not be the right fit if:
- You want to review several unrelated routes, exercises, or movements.
- Your questions require an extended conversation or substantial back-and-forth.
- You want a personalized training plan, progressions, or ongoing accountability.
- You want an assessment of your overall training rather than feedback on one specific problem.
In these cases, our Pay-As-You-Go coaching option gives you a full hour with a Climb Strong coach to look at the broader picture, answer questions, and develop a clearer plan for moving forward.
Explore Pay-As-You-Go Coaching
If your primary concern is pain, a suspected injury, diagnosis, or rehabilitation, Video Review and Pay-As-You-Go coaching are not substitutes for care from an appropriate healthcare professional.
Preparing Your Video
Aim to submit 3–5 minutes of focused footage. Carefully selected footage will be more valuable to your coach than a 45-minute ground-up attempt that includes setup, rest, and lowering time.
Tell us which move, section, or question you would like the coach to address, and include a timestamp whenever possible. This helps the coach focus the review on what will be most useful to you.
Working With Longer Videos
- For a longer route, trim the video around the section that is giving you trouble. Include enough climbing before the crux to show relevant positioning, pacing, and fatigue, but remove excessive setup, rest, and lowering time.
- If you cannot reasonably shorten the footage, want feedback on multiple sections or videos, or are not sure what to include, contact us before submitting. A one-hour Pay-As-You-Go coaching session may be a better fit.
Uploads must be no larger than 10 GB. If the footage is too long or unfocused for a useful review, we may ask you to trim and resubmit it before payment.
Need Help Trimming Your Video?
You do not need professional editing software. Apple users can trim a clip using the Photos app on an iPhone, iPad, or Mac, or QuickTime Player on a Mac. Windows users can use Microsoft Clipchamp to trim clips, remove downtime, and combine selected attempts. These free tools are enough for the simple edits needed here.
Remove setup, long rest periods, lowering time, and unrelated footage, but keep enough climbing before the crux to show the positioning, pacing, and fatigue that may contribute to the problem.
What You’ll Receive
Your review brings the coach’s feedback, key moments, written analysis, and next steps together in one place. You’ll be able to watch the movement alongside the coach’s video response, then return to the timestamped observations and recommendations during future sessions. If anything in your review is unclear, reply to your coach’s delivery email and they’ll be happy to clarify.
